Highlights of the session of Mr Nikhil -

1. Business Communication in consulting

2. Principle - How to structure the content.

3. Create a 'Personal Brand'

1. Business Communication in consulting-

Consulting is 80% communication and 5 % research. It is important to have a better Relationship which could be built by better communication only.

It is important to have not only technical skill but also how you present your ideas to the team with whatever tool you are using which creates long-lasting impact on listeners.

One should put a quotation, question or a video to keep the audience engaged.

2. Structuring your content - Pyramid Principle

Key factors for structuring your thoughts are Situation, Compliance, Questions and Answers.

It is important to organize our idea and provide supporting documents. For this, we should follow IDFL and MECE techniques.

·         IDLF: We should organize as per - Idea, Data, Facts, and Logic.

·         MECE (Mutually Exclusive and collectively exhaustive):  this is one of the widely used techniques in consulting.

3. Create a 'Personal Brand':

  •  It is important to create personal branding. As its impact is large.
  • Have a Blog, YouTube Channel, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram account. Meet new people and learn from them.

Special Thanks to NITIE Mumbai and Professor T. Prasad for organizing such wonderful sessions.
